In 1987, Michael Cloonen joined Adrian and moved south to open the Texas terminal
in Avalon, which is located about 50 miles south of Dallas.
Since 1987 Michael has built the company on quality equipment and quality service and due
to the company's inventory of specialized equipment Coal City Cob is considered one of the
most diverse carriers in the Bulk Liquid industry.

continues to grow by providing new services to the Chemical Industry. The company
has continued to expand it's customer base building partnerships with the leading chemical
manufacturers in the United States and Canada and securing contracts to transport a
variety of commodities on specialized equipment and general chemical tanks.
